Sometimes you just don't want to make a salad. This is a great little dish that takes minutes to put together and all that is required is what is in your crisper.

Steps:
- You can use any vegetable combination you would like. Simply dice, chop veggies and put in a bowl. Add celery salt and basil and toss.
- Chill for 15 to 30 minutes prior to serving.
COLD GRAY VEGETABLES RECIPE - SIMPLE CHINESE FOOD
I didn't know what Huihancai was before. I saw that it was sold in supermarkets and carefully read the name of the dish. Only then did I know that it was Huihancai. This is probably a kind of wild vegetable. I heard from friends that the gray cold vegetable is delicious when eaten together. Buy some and taste it, it feels really good.

Steps:
- Prepare ingredients: gray cold vegetables, old ginger, garlic, shallots, and spicy millet.
- Wash the gray cold vegetables.
- Wash the ginger, garlic, shallots and millet and chop them separately; prepare soy sauce, vinegar, pepper oil, sesame oil, salt and chicken essence;
- Add an appropriate amount of water to a boiling pot and bring to a boil.
- Add the grey cold vegetables to blanch water.
- Remove the blanched gray cold vegetables and soak them in clean water.
- Squeeze the cooled gray cold vegetables dry.
- Add the seasoning prepared in step 3.
- Stir it well and it's ready to eat.
