I saw a recipe on Pinterest, it was for the cinnamon sticks, well I got in the kitchen playing with the basis of that recipe. These Coconut sticks are so good. Kinda taste like a mounds candy bar.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 - loaf of bread ( white)
2 package(s) coconut ( sweetened flakes)
8 ounce(s) cream cheese, room temperature
3/4 cup(s) confectioners' sugar
1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk
1 package(s) chocolate chips
1 stick(s) butter ( melted)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350. Cut crust off of bread, then roll flat with a rolling pin. ( as flat as you can)
  • Mix cream cheese and confectioner's sugar together until smooth, then spread on flattened bread.
  • In a small bowl pour 1/2 package of coconut and mix with 1/2 of the condensed milk.
  • Use as many of the chocolates chips as you wish, place at the top of each slice of bread then top with about 1 teaspoon of the coconut mix. Starting at the end with the chocolate chips roll it up and sorta seal the edge.
  • Dip each roll in the melted butter then roll really well in the dry coconut. Place on cookie sheet and bake 25 minutes at 350.

1 stick(s) butter
1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
32 ounce(s) powdered sugar
pinch(es) salt
1 package(s) coconut (14 oz)
1 package(s) chocolate bark (24 oz)

Steps:

  • Melt butter slowly; add condensed milk.
  • Stir in powdered sugar and salt.
  • Add coconut.
  • Chill until easily handled.
  • Roll into balls. Insert toothpicks and place in refrigerator or freezer until firm. Remove a few at a time to prevent getting soft.
  • Melt bark in a double boiler.
  • Dip each ball in chocolate.
  • Place on waxed paper and remove toothpicks. Let set until firm.
  • ENJOY!
