Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 9”-x-13” pan with cooking spray. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, Coke, and cocoa powder. Bring to a boil, whisking continuously. Remove from heat and whisk in eggs and buttermilk. Pour into flour mixture and mix until combined. Transfer to prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. • Let it cool for 30 minutes to one hour, and then strain the homemade coca cola syrup with a sieve or cheesecloth for a smoother consistency.
• For every 1 1/2 cups of carbonated water, add in 1/2 cup of homemade cola syrup. Stir the mixture until it's fully combined and blended. For best results, add ice and enjoy!
