CINNAMON AND CLOVE TEA RECIPE | DRINKS & SOUPS RECIPES ...
Do not like the taste of plain water? Instead try these delicious low calorie herbal cinnamon tea and juices. Cinnamon and Clove Tea Recipe are packed with surprising flavors, fresh spices and vitamins - and they make perfect substitutes for water.

Cloves are a good source of Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Magnesium and Manganese. They also contain Vitamin E, Calcium, Iron and Fiber.
Cloves have contain significant amounts of an active compound (eugenol)that been used in dentistry for many years for its antibacterial and anesthetic properties.
More recently cloves have been studied in relation to the prevention of toxicity of certain environmental pollutants, preventing cancer and treating joint inflammation.

Cinnamon is an excel lent source of Manganese and Calcium. It also contains Fiber, Vitamin K and Iron. Cinnamon is full of anti-inflammatory properties (lowers release of arachidonic acid) and is therefore great for those suffering from inflammatory diseases such as arthritis, psoriasis and eczema. It is also antibacterial and antimicrobial, hence its popular use as an anti-candida remedy.
Using cinnamon to season a high carbohydrate food will lessen its impact on your blood sugar, meaning it will slow the rate at which the stomach empties after meals, reducing the rise in blood sugar after eating. It has therefore been used to help those with type 2 diabetes improve their response to insulin.
Cinnamon has also been valued for its warming qualities, providing relief for those faced with the onset of a cold or flu, especially when mixed in a tea with some fresh ginger.
