Cinnamon-sugar lovers, these crackers are for you! Super easy Cinnamon Sugar Crackers are loaded with fabulous cinnamon flavor, and truly could not be any easier to make. Whip up a batch of these tasty little bites for any party, game-day get together, or for just plain everyday snacking.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 (11 oz.) box Saltine Minis
1/2 c. canola or vegetable oil
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
gallon-sized Ziploc bag

Steps:

  • Place canola oil, sugar, and cinnamon in a gallon-sized Ziploc bag. Seal bag and work mixture with your hands to thoroughly combine.
  • Add crackers to the bag.
  • Seal Ziploc bag with air in it (to allow crackers some room to move around).
  • Gently turn bag over and over to tumble crackers around until all crackers are coated with the oil mixture.
  • Let the bag sit for about an hour, then turn again. Repeat several times until all of the oil mixture is absorbed.
  • Allow crackers to rest in the bag overnight to best develop their flavor.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to about 1 week.

Number Of Ingredients 9

3/4 cup all-purpose flour, plus more for surface
3/4 cup graham or whole-wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Coarse salt
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup packed dark-brown sugar
1 large egg

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk together flours, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Beat butter and sugar with a mixer on medium speed until pale and fluffy. Mix in egg. Add flour mixture, and mix to combine.
  • Divide dough in half. Roll out each dough half to 1/8-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.
  • Cut out eighteen 2 1/2-inch-square crackers, using a fluted cookie cutter or a knife. Transfer to baking sheets, spacing 1/2 inch apart.
  • Bake, rotating sheets halfway through, until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Transfer sheets to wire racks, and let cool.
