5 (3 inch) cinnamon sticks

Steps:

  • Combine water and cinnamon sticks in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to maintain a simmer. Simmer until the tea is very fragrant and tastes like spicy cinnamon, 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Strain the tea; discard solids. Serve hot.
