I use this sauce in many of the Asian dishes I make. It's fantastic on wings instead of traditional buffalo wing sauce.

2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chile paste)
2 tablespoons diagonally sliced green onions
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
2 teaspoons white sugar
2 teaspoons grated ginger
1 teaspoon sesame oil

Steps:

  • Whisk gochujang, green onions, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, sesame seeds, sugar, ginger, and sesame oil together in a bowl until smooth.

Some Milk ((for tenderizing))
A handful of Wide Glass Noodles ((Potato Starch Noodles))
1/2 a whole Onion
1-2 Potatoes ((total, length of your hand))
1 Sweet Potato ((total, length of your hand))
Small piece of Carrot ((length of your pinky finger))
2 Cheongyang Chili Peppers ((or ~1 Jalapeno Pepper))
2 stalks of Spring Onion ((each, length of your forearm))
2/3 Cup Soy Sauce ((165 ml))
1/2 Cup Cheongju (Or Sake) ((125 ml))
1/2 Cup Mirin ((125 ml))
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar ((125 ml))
4-5 Spicy Dried Red Chili Peppers
1 Tablespoon Chunjang Paste
2 Cups Water ((500 ml))
1.5 Tablespoons Minced Garlic
Few cracks of Black Pepper

Steps:

  • Tenderize Chicken & Soak Noodles
  • Prep Veggies
  • Braise Chicken
  • Plate and Serve with rice
