Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place butter in a 9- x 13-inch baking dish, then place in oven 5 minutes, or until butter is melted.
- Layer graham cracker crumbs, chocolate chips, walnuts and coconut over butter. Pour condensed milk over coconut; top with chocolate covered candies.
- Bake 30 minutes. Cool in baking dish on a wire rack, then cut into squares.

Because of the whole wheat flour, I've always felt these squares were somewhat healthy. Maybe I'm kidding myself, but I definitely can say they're delicious, and perfect for any holiday goodie platter.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375F; grease a 13x9 pan and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, oats, sugar and baking soda.
- Stir in melted butter and mix together until mixture appears crumbly.
- Firmly pat half the crumb mixture into prepared pan, then cover evenly with mincemeat.
- Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over mincemeat and pat lightly.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until squares appear golden brown.
- Cool before cutting into squares.

To make this Christmas squares recipe, blend peanut butter, sugar, and syrup over heat but do not boil. To this mixture add Rice Krispies® and melted butter. Press mixture into 8x8-inch pan and allow to set 20 minutes in refrigerator before icing. Very good!
