Tacos With A Twist with Cholula® Hot Sauce

Yield Serves: 8

Number Of Ingredients 18

3 pounds beef chuck roast, boneless
1/3 cup Cholula® Original Hot Sauce
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoons dried cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teasoon black pepper
1 lime, fresh squeezed
24 fresh corn tortillas
4 radishes, thinly sliced
1 fresh lime, juiced
Handful of fresh cilantro, chopped
1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
salt to taste
Cotija cheese
fresh avocados, diced

Steps:

  • Place the beef chuck roast in the bottom of a slow cooker. Cover with the Cholula Original, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, dried cumin,dried oregano, salt, pepper, and lime juice. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 5 hours. When roast is finished cooking,remove from the liquid and set aside. Skim fat off top of remaining beef liquid and discard. Shred beef with two forks and place back in liquid. Stir well, taste & add salt if needed.Keep warm. Combine the sliced radishes and all other ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Stir well, cover and place in the refrigerator until ready to use. To serve, stack 2 corn tortillas on top of each other, fill with desired amount of shredded beefand top with radish salad, Cotija cheese, diced avocados, and finish with extra Cholula Original to taste

Chipotle Kebabs with Cholula® Hot Sauce

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 1/2 pounds boneless pork loin or boneless chicken breasts cut into 1 1/2”
1 bottle (12 ounces) Cholula® Chipotle Hot Sauce - use 6 ounces for baste and serve the remaining on the side
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 sweet vidalia onion
1 red pepper
1 green pepper
1 yellow pepper
8 white button mushrooms
metal skewers
6 ounces Cholula Chipotle
1/4 cup agave nectar, light

Steps:

  • Prepare your grill for medium high heat, 325ºF to 375ºF Cut onions, peppers and mushrooms into similar sized pieces. Thread boneless pork loin or boneless chicken chunks onto metal skewers, alternating with vegetables. Season kebabs with salt. In a small bowl whisk together baste ingredients. Place kebabs on grill and baste every 5 minutes, turning often. Remove from grill when the kebabs have reached 155ºF internal temperature (approximately 20 minutes). Serve kebabs with additional Cholula Chipotle on the side. Grilling Tip: Using metal skewers eliminates the need for soaking wood skewers and also heats up and cooks food faster.
