CHOCOLATE COVERED SALTINE CRACKERS RECIPE - FOOD.COM
I had these sweet and salty saltines covered with chocolate and topped with nuts which I tweaked at a friend's house. Very addictive little treats.Use topping to suit the occasion.

Steps:
- Arrange 40 saltine crackers on a non-stick foil in a jelly roll pan.
- Melt butter and brown sugar in pan and boil 3 minutes.
- Pour over crackers.
- Bake at 350°F for 5 minutes.
- Pour chocolate chips over and let stand 5 minutes to melt.
- Spread around with knife and then sprinkle nuts and toffee bits over top and or raisins.
- Garnish with colored sprinkles.
- Place in refrigerator until hard.
- Break into bite-size pieces.

Place each spoon in a flat cellophane bag (we also used a cardboard insert for stability) and tie with kitchen twine or ribbon. To serve, stir chocolate spoon into 8 ounces hot milk.

- Place chocolate melts in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir and microwave for 30-second intervals until melted and smooth. Spoon chocolate into ice cube trays using about 1 Tbsp. in each of 24 squares. Decorate with toppings and insert spoon into each square. Refrigerate until completely set, about 30 minutes, and gently remove from the cube tray.
