CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES IN A BAG! RECIPE - FOOD.COM
This recipe is great and easy to prepare. I created the recipe from an old handed down recipe from my grandmother. I added a few different variations to it.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- in a small bowl combine flour baking soda and salt then set aside.
- in a large bowl cream butter,sugar and brown sugar until light.
- Then beat in eggs cinnamon and vanilla until smooth.
- Gradually add flour mixture until well combined.
- Stir in chips and (optional) walnuts.
- Drop by well rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8-12 minutes or until just golden brown (don't over bake).
- Then place several cookies in decorative bags.
- Great for gift giving. I sell my cookies and all are placed in cute and unusual gift bags!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; stir into the butter mixture until well blended. Mix in the chocolate chips and walnuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or just until set. Cool slightly on the cookie sheets before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

For cookies etc., numbers like this don't matter much unless you're making some ridiculously huge quantity. If you're melting the chocolate for something else (like fudge), you can get much better chocolate for the same price.
