2 tablespoons margarine
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons golden syrup
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 cups Rice Krispies

Steps:

Put the margarine, sugar and syrup in a saucepan and heat gently until it has all melted and mixed together.
Remove from the heat and add the cocoa powder. Mix inches.
Add the Rice Krispies and mix well to coat evenly.
Drop tablespoonfuls of the mixture into paper cases. Chill in the fridge until set.

1 cup butter, softened
2?½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups crisp rice cereal
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Stir together flour, baking soda and salt and set aside. Beat butter or margarine and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour mixture. Stir in cereal and chocolate chips.
Drop onto greased baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
