- "This is the King of English sausage. The basic banger was created from this recipe. 1. Grind the meat and fatback through a 3/8 plate 2. Mix the herbs and seasonings in the water and chill. 3. Using a food proccessor emulsify the meat and chill. 4, In a mixer add the herbs, spices,and seasonings to the water then the bread crumbs 5. Chill, 6. You will not believe how simple this is to make or how much people love it! I have used this many, many times on buffets, drinks gatherings, or just as nibbles when the footie boys invade my house-and there are NEVER any leftovers!! The quantities are not exact-so adjust the amount of chutney as you see fit. The cooking time can also vary-sometimes I cook these long and slow, other times I whack the heat up a bit to speed it along-depends how long you can wait for them!

Steps:
- Double line a large baking tin with tin foil-either spray with non stick spray or add a sheet of non stick baking parchment to base of tin.
- Throw chipolatas into the pan and spread around.
- Throw the mango chutney on top of chipolatas.
- Bake in a moderate oven, basting and turning the chipolatas often so that the chutney coats them well as it melts. You may like to add more chutney at this stage if you feel there is not enough!
- Bake until sausages are cooked and well coloured. They should be good and sticky.
- Serve with plenty of napkins!

- Preheat the oven to 180ºC/350ºF/gas 4.
- Halve the cherry tomatoes, peel and finely slice the garlic, and tear the bread into bite-sized chunks.
- Place it all in a 30cm x 35cm roasting tray, pour in the beans and their juice, drizzle with 1 tablespoon each of olive oil and red wine vinegar, add a splash of water, and mix it all together.
- Quickly pinch and twist each chipolata in the middle to make it into two mini ones, then randomly dot them around your bake, lightly pressing them into the beans and tomatoes.
- Roast for 45 minutes, or until everything is golden, bubbling and delicious.
