HOMEMADE PEANUT BRITTLE RECIPE - SIMPLE CHINESE FOOD

Homemade peanut brittle recipe - Simple Chinese Food image

This dessert is one of the favorite snacks of childhood. Its sweet and sweet taste can always capture the taste buds of children. However, because it was too sweet, as I grew up, I gradually realized the harm of sweets to the body, so I gradually alienated it.
But now the homemade candy wind is getting stronger and stronger, and all of them are doing very well. I couldn’t help but try this peanut candy. Because it was the first time to make this peanut candy, I didn’t have enough experience in making syrup. , It makes the finished product taste a little bit sticky, but the taste is really good, the taste is the same as when I was a child, it is very sweet and delicious, and it has no additives, it is hygienic and healthy, and it is safe to eat!

Provided by 1 coarse tea and light rice 1

Total Time 30 minutes

Yield 4

Number Of Ingredients 4

300 grams Peanuts (fried)
20 grams Corn oil
150 grams maltose
150 grams White sugar

Steps:

  • Ripe peanut kernels (this saves trouble, I just buy cooked peanuts in shell and peeled peanut kernels)
  • White sugar and maltose
  • Plastic wrap in the mold
  • Pour corn oil and white sugar into the pot and boil it over medium and low heat
  • Slowly boil the sugar to make it brownish red
  • Pour in maltose
  • Boil the syrup slowly over low heat
  • You can often use chopsticks to dip a little syrup into cold boiling water, take it out and place it in your mouth for a bit, if it is crispy and not sticky to the teeth, it means that the syrup is ready.
  • After the syrup is boiled, pour into the peanut kernels (at this time the fire can be a little bigger), stir and fry quickly
  • Mix well and pour into the mold, wrap it with plastic wrap, and quickly flatten the surface
  • Shape it, leave it for a while to remove the plastic wrap, and cut the peanut candy into small pieces while it is warm, and let it cool before eating. The fragrant, crispy and crispy is not worse than the one you bought!
