6 bone-in skinless chicken thighs, fat removed
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons orange juice
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1 clove minced garlic
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon water

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Arrange chicken in a single layer in a glass baking dish.
  • Combine oil, orange juice, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and garlic.
  • Pour over chicken.
  • Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes to 1 hour, until chicken is done.
  • Transfer chicken to a serving platter.
  • Combine cornstarch and water.
  • Add to juices in baking dish.
  • Stir to mix.
  • Return to oven.
  • Cook until thickened and bubbly, stirring occasionally.
  • Spoon over chicken.

2 tb Dry sherry or orange juice
1 1/2 lb Skinless boneless chicken
1 tb Orange juice or water
2 tb Rice wine vinegar or cider
2 tb Soy sauce low sodium
1 ts Sesame oil toasted
1/2 ts Garlic minced
1 ts Cornstarch
1 ts Honey

Steps:

  • "Preheat oven to 375. Rinse chicken and pat dry. Arrange in a single layer in a glass baking dish. Set aside. In a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, vinegar, sherry, sesame oil, honey and garlic. Pour over chicken. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes or until chicken is tender and no longer pink. remove chicken from baking dish and keep warm. Transfer sauce to a small saucepan In small bow., stir together orange juice and cornstarch. Add to sauce. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly, about 3 minutes.
