Stuffed Bitter Gourd recipe - Simple Chinese Food image

The steamed stuffed bitter gourd is salty, crispy, light and refreshing. The bitter gourd has a tantalizing aroma and a slightly bitter fragrance. It not only has the effects of clearing away heat and detoxifying, improving eyesight and reducing fire, appetizing and digesting food, but also because it is a steamed vegetable, it can be warmed after eating. Stomach replenishes qi.

Number Of Ingredients 9

350 grams Bitter gourd
200 g Pork belly
30g Peanut oil
3 grams salt
30g Soy sauce
1 g pepper
10gram Sugar
30g Red pepper
20 grams Chives

Steps:

  • After the pork belly is chopped into puree, add light soy sauce, sugar, salt and pepper, mix well
  • Cut the bitter gourd into 5cm rounds, then scrape out the inner flesh with a spoon
  • Chop red pepper and chives separately
  • As shown in the picture: Fill the pork paste in the bitter gourd round pier
  • After the steamer gets steamed, turn off the heat for 15 minutes on high heat
  • The steamed bitter gourd is brewed out and let cool
  • Heat oil in a wok, sauté the red pepper and green onion, and pour in the light soy sauce and sugar for the juice
  • Just pour the mixed juice on the plate
