Sweet Chili Pigs in a Blanket - Hy-Vee Recipes and Ideas image

Sweet chili sauce adds a yummy tang to the classic pigs in a blanket. Brush the tops with toasted sesame oil and sprinkle with Chinese 5-spice seasoning blend.

1 (8-oz.) can Hy-Vee refrigerated original crescent rolls
16 tsp. of Hy-Vee Thai sweet chili sauce
16 pork sausage links
0 Toasted sesame oil
0 Chinese 5-spice
0 Black sesame seeds
0 Green onions

Steps:

  • 1.

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Unroll crescent rolls; separate into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle lengthwise into two strips. Spoon 1 teaspoon Hy-Vee Thai sweet chili sauce onto wide end of each strip. Place 1 pork sausage link on sauce and roll up. Place on baking sheet. Brush with toasted sesame oil; sprinkle with Chinese 5-spice seasoning blend and sesame seeds.

    Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Garnish with sliced green onions, if desired. Serve with additional sweet chili sauce.

1 (4 ounce) can mild green chilies
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
4 halibut fillets (4-6 ounces each)
1 sheet aluminum foil

Steps:

  • Preheat grill.
  • 1 sheet aluminum foil sparyed with cooking spray. Place halibut fillet on foil.
  • Mix mayonnaise, green chilies, lime juice and cilantro together.
  • Spread on top of fillets. Place foil on grill and cook 10 to 12 minutes.
