2 tsp. Paprika
2 tsp. Garlic Powder
2 tsp. Salt
1 box Fettuccini
1/3 stick Butter
1 small Diced Onion
2 bulbs Diced Garlic
2 cups Heavy Cream
1/3 cup Kikkoman's Teriyaki Sauce and Marinade
1/4 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes (Just enough for a back of throat kick, double if you like spicy)
1/3 cup Parmesan Cheese
1/2 tbsp. Paprika
1/2 tbsp. Parsley
Salt and Pepper (- Use to taste as the teriyaki sauce has salt)

4 Tbsp Teriyaki Sauce
2 Tbsp Garlic Minced
1 Tbsp Ginger Ground
1/2 Cup Water
3 Chicken Breasts
1 Jar Alfredo Sauce
1 Box Pasta

Steps:

  • "1. Add teriyaki sauce, garlic, ginger, and water into a mixing bowl and whisk until well blended. Pour onto thawed chicken breasts and allow to marinate for 20-30 minutes. 2. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes until done. 3. Boil pasta until finished, add Alfredo sauce. 4. Cut chicken and add to Alfredo sauce. Pour in the marinade. Mix together. 5. Enjoy!"

Teriyaki is derived from the Japanese root words teri, to shine, and yaki, to broil or grill. That’s the way traditional teriyaki looks: shiny and incised with grill marks. In Japan, teriyaki is a mix of soy sauce, sake and the rice wine mirin, which imparts a subtle sweetness. The teriyaki found throughout Seattle, of which this is an adaptation, is a bit more showy. Cooks sweeten with white sugar and pineapple juice. They thicken with cornstarch. Ginger and garlic go into the mix because of the Korean ancestry of many cooks. It is not at all traditional, but it is simple to prepare and addictive to eat. Be sure to plan ahead as you do need to marinate the chicken before cooking. An overnight stay in the fridge is ideal, but many readers have been happy with a quick marinade of an hour or so.
