Number Of Ingredients 15

1 package al fresco Roasted Garlic Chicken Sausage, sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp tumeric
1 tsp dried oregano
red pepper flakes
1 cup uncooked white jasmine rice
2 cups low sodium chicken stock
salt
1 tbsp fresh parsley (Optional)

Steps:

  • Add olive oil to a large sauacepan.
  • Saute onion and bell peppers. Add chicken sausage.
  • Add tomato paste, garlic, spices, and salt. Stir to combine.
  • Add rice and chicken stock.
  • Cook on simmer for 20-25 minutes until rice is cooked.

1 tbsp olive oil
1 package al fresco Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage
1/4 clove garlic
1.5 cups rice (uncooked)
1/2 cup red pepper (chopped)
1/3 cup corn
3 cups chicken broth
1 tsp basil

Steps:

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet.
  • Add chicken sausage and cook over medium heat until browned.
  • Remove chicken sausage from skillet, slice into 4-6 pieces. Set aside.
  • Add garlic and rice to skillet. Stir constantly until rice is lightly browned.
  • Add peppers and corn
  • Continue cooking until peppers are tender
  • Stir in chicken broth and basil
  • Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
  • Gently stir in chicken sausage and continue simmering until rice is tender.
