6 Chicken breasts boneless and skinless (or one whole 3 lb chicken)
4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1/2 cup Yellow onion (finely chopped)
2 tablespoons Unsalted butter (cut into bits)
1 1/2 cups Orange juice (with pulp)
1/4 cup Brown sugar

Steps:

  • "Directions 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees, fixing rack in the center of the oven 2. Rinse and pat dry the chicken 3. Smear the skin-side with Dijon mustard 4. Arrange the chicken mustard-side down in a shallow roasting pan or baking dish in a single layer 5. Sprinkle the pieces with chopped onion, butter, salt and pepper 6. Pour orange juice around and on top of the chicken 7. Bake, basting once, for 30 minutes 8. Turn the chicken skin side up and sprinkle with brown sugar 9. Bake until the chicken is tender and golden 15-20 minutes (shorter for chicken breasts) adding more orange juice if the pan seems dry 10. Remove the chicken to a serving platter 11. Pour the remaining juices into a small saucepan and boil over high heat until syrupy 12. Spoon the sauce over the chicken and serve."

1 can (6 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
1 teaspoon ground savory
1/2 teaspoon ground sage
1/2 teaspoon salt, optional

Steps:

  • Place chicken pieces in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Combine orange juice, lemon juice, bouillon, savory, sage and salt if desired; pour over chicken. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 60-70 minutes or until juices run clear, basting occasionally.
