This is an adopted recipe that grabbed my heart. Chicken feet can be found in most Asian markets for less than 50 cents a pound. They work very well in stock too.

12 chicken feet, declawed and skinned
3 tablespoons dark soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice wine
3 slices ginger
3 green onions
1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
star anise
1 piece orange rind
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pint water

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.

625 grams Chicken feet
700 grams Vinegar
100 g Yellow rock candy
3 slices ginger
1 Yellow candy

Steps:

  • Material drawing
  • Soak chicken feet in cold water for 30 minutes to remove blood
  • Boil an appropriate amount of water in a pot, add sliced ginger and chicken feet and cook for 5 minutes
  • Take the cooked chicken feet out and put them in the prepared ice water to cool the river
  • Boil the vinegar, yellow rock sugar, and yellow slices, turn to a low heat for 5 minutes
  • After the vinegar cools down, put the chicken feet in the cold river
  • You can eat after soaking for about 10 hours. During this period, remember to turn over more to make the chicken feet more flavorful.
