1 carton (32 oz) Progresso™ reduced-sodium chicken broth (4 cups)
3 cups shredded cooked chicken (about 1 1/2 lb)
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Southern Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits (8 Count)
2 medium carrots, chopped (1 cup)
3 celery ribs, chopped

Steps:

  • In 4- to 5-quart Dutch oven, heat broth, chicken, soup and poultry seasoning to boiling over medium-high heat; reduce heat to low. Cover; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Increase heat to medium-high; return to a low boil.
  • On lightly floured surface, roll or pat each biscuit to 1/8-inch thickness; cut into 1/2-inch-wide strips.
  • Drop strips, one at a time, into boiling chicken mixture. Add carrots and celery. Reduce heat to low. Cover; simmer 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent dumplings from sticking.

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 cup chopped red onion
1 pound thinly sliced chicken breast
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon celery salt
½ teaspoon pepper
2 cans of condensed cream of chicken soup
3 cups chicken broth
2 tablespoons butter
1 bay leave
1 bag frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, corn, peas, green beans)
1 can refrigerated homestyle Pillsbury Grands biscuits

Steps:

  • In crockpot add onion and place chicken breast on on top.
  • Sprinkle salt, celery salt, pepper.
  • Add condensed soup and chicken broth
  • Cut butter into small pieces and add bay leave
  • Cook for 3 hours on HIGH
  • Take chicken out and shredded with 2 forks
  • Add frozen vegetables and cook for 15 minutes on HIGH
  • During this time. Separate all 8 biscuits and cut each of them in 8 pieces. You should have 64 pieces total.
  • Add the biscuit pieces to the crockpot and cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Serve and Enjoy!

Cover and cook for about 45 min on med to low. shacking the pot around in a circle to mix them around. uncover about ever 10 min to poke down dumplings. Once the dumpling sink to the bottom their should be about done.
