I've never seen a mimic recipe for Chick-fil-A's soft serve "Ice Dream", but while googling it again the other day I caught a great tip: it's a lot more like "ice milk" than "ice cream". This recipe that I found for ice milk from Joy In My Kitchen (not my blog) is so easy and the consistency is spot on. The taste is not quite there but really close. 1 14-oz can Sweetened Condensed Milk 4 cups whole milk 1 tsp vanilla. Mix together and churn 20 minutes in an ice cream machine. It's that simple!
