All-American Cheeseburger Ring - Recipes | Pampered Chef ... image

Kids love the cheeseburgers at fast-food restaurants, so you're sure to bring out the smiles with this cheeseburger ring.

Yield 8 servings

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/4 cup onion, chopped
3/4 pound lean (90%) ground beef
1/4 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard
9 slices (3/4 ounce each) American cheese, divided
2 packages (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
16 dill pickle slices
3 large plum tomatoes
2 cups lettuce, shredded

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Chop onion using Food Chopper. In (10-in.) Skillet, cook ground beef with onion over medium heat 8-10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink; drain. Add ketchup, mustard and 5 of the cheese slices, cut up; stir until cheese is melted. Remove pan from heat.Unroll crescent dough; separate into 16 triangles. Arrange triangles in a circle on Medium Round Stone with Handles with wide ends of triangles overlapping in the center and points toward the outside. (There should be a 5-inch diameter opening in center of baking stone.) Using Medium Scoop, scoop meat mixture evenly onto widest end of each triangle. Top each scoop with pickle slice. Bring points of triangles up over filling and tuck under wide ends of dough at center of ring. (Filling will not be completely covered.) Bake 20-25 minutes or until deep golden brown. Remove from oven.Using Crinkle Cutter, cut each of the remaining 4 cheese slices into 4 triangles. Arrange cheese triangles over top of ring. Slice tomatoes using Ultimate Mandoline. Arrange tomato slices around inside center of ring. Slice lettuce into thin strands using Crinkle Cutter. Place in center of ring. Cut ring into 8 servings using Nylon Slice 'N Serve®. Serve with additional ketchup and mustard, if desired.

3/4 pound ground beef
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
4 slices American cheese, quartered
3/4 cup dill pickle slices, blotted dry
2 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
Thousand Island salad dressing, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. On an ungreased 12-in. pizza pan, arrange triangles in a ring with points toward the outside and wide ends overlapping. Press overlapping dough to seal., In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink, 6-8 minutes, breaking into crumbles; drain. Stir in ketchup and mustard. Remove from the heat., Spoon beef mixture across wide end of triangles. Top with cheese and pickles. Fold pointed end of triangles over filling, tucking points under to form a ring (filling will be visible). Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. If desired, serve with Thousand Island dressing.

  • Preheat oven to 375° and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Add ground beef, breaking the meat up with a wooden spoon. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned all over and cooked through, another 4-5 minutes. Turn off heat and drain fat. Return skillet over low heat and check for seasonings, adding more salt and pepper if necessary. Add ketchup and mustard and stir until evenly combined. Turn off heat. Unroll crescent rolls, separating each triangle. Arrange in a sunburst pattern, with pointy ends of the triangles facing outward (the base of the triangles should overlap). Spread ground beef mixture over triangle bases, forming a ring. Top with cheddar slices then with pickle chips. Fold triangle tips over filling (there will be gaps where meat and cheese peeks out between crescent rolls). Brush the top of the dough with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake until dough is golden and the cheese has melted, 15 to 20 minutes. Serve warm.
