This is a wonderful cheese ball. It is very easy to make and simply delicious. Whenever I make it for gatherings or work it always gets great reviews. Serve with an assortment of crackers.

Steps:
- In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, and dressing mix. Form into one large ball or two smaller balls. Roll in chopped pecans to coat surface. Decorate the top with pecan halves. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.

Steps:
- In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix in confectioners' sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in chocolate chips. Cover, and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Shape chilled cream cheese mixture into a ball. Wrap with plastic, and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Roll the cheese ball in finely chopped pecans before serving.

Pulse until the mixture is well combined.Scoop the cheese mixture out of the food processor and form with your hands into the shape of a large almond. Place on a platter.Press the round ends of the almonds into the cheese ball with the points slightly leaning toward the pointed end of the cheese ball form. Cover the cheese ball completely with almonds. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish the platter with fresh herbs and serve with crackers or cut vegetables.
