We love everything about this quiche recipe (get it?)—and we have a hunch you will, too! Everything bagel seasoning is rolled into Pillsbury™ pie crust and filled with a bagel-inspired mixture of eggs, cheese, bacon, cream cheese and tomatoes. Every bite tastes like your favorite everything bagel in quiche form, and we just can't get enough.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 crust from 1 box (14.1 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Pie Crusts (2 Count), softened as directed on box
2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning (from 2.3-oz bottle)
4 oz (from 8-oz package) cream cheese, softened
4 eggs
1 cup half-and-half
8 slices fully cooked bacon, heated, coarsely chopped (about 2/3 cup)
1/2 cup chopped plum (Roma) tomato (1 medium)
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (6 oz)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F.
  • Unroll pie crust; sprinkle 1 side evenly with everything bagel seasoning. With rolling pin, roll seasoning into crust. Place pie crust, seasoning side up, in ungreased 9-inch pie plate as directed on box for One-Crust Filled Pie. Do Not Prick Crust. Bake 10 minutes (if crust puffs up in center after baking, gently push down with bottom of metal measuring cup). Cool 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in large bowl, beat cream cheese with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Beat in eggs and half-and-half until well blended; set aside. Layer bacon, tomato, green onions and mozzarella cheese in crust-lined pie plate. Pour egg mixture evenly over cheese.
  • Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Refrigerate leftovers.

shredded white cheddar

1 1/2 c.

halved cherry tomatoes

1 oz.

(8-oz.) block cream cheese, cut into 1/2" cubes

1/2

red onion, thinly sliced

large eggs

2 1/2 c.

milk

2

green onions, sliced, plus more for garnish 

Kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepepr

Pinch cayenne

1 tsp.

poppy seeds

1 tsp.

dried minced onion

1 tsp.

sesame seeds

1 tsp.

dried garlic 

1 tsp.

coarse salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350° and grease a 9”-x-13” baking pan with cooking spray. Scatter about half of bagel pieces in baking pan then top with half of the cheddar, tomatoes, cream cheese, and red onion. Repeat to make another layer. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and green onions. Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Pour mixture over bagels making sure to coat each bagel piece. Sprinkle seasonings over casserole then cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake until bagels are golden and eggs are cooked through, about 25 minutes more. Let cool 30 minutes.

In a medium bowl, whisk the cream and eggs until well combined. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough begins to form but mixture is still crumbly.  Turn the dough out onto the prepared baking sheet. Knead just to combine (do not overwork). Then pat into a 6-inch circle, about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into 8 wedges and spread evenly on pan. Sprinkle tops with more oats.  Bake, rotating sheet halfway through, until golden brown, 20 to 24 minutes. Let cool before serving.
