CANDY COOKIES IN A JAR RECIPE | LAND O’LAKES
Steps:
- Layer flour, baking soda, salt, oats, candy pieces, brown sugar, sugar and peanuts in a 1-quart glass jar with airtight seal. Cover; decorate jar as desired.
- Include the following instructions with the jar:Heat oven to 350°F. Combine butter, egg and vanilla in bowl. Beat at medium speed until well mixed. Add dry ingredients from jar. Stir until well mixed. Shape dough into 1-inch balls or drop by level tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to cooling rack.
