8 Cdas. (50 gr) café molido
5 ½ oz (150 gr) piloncillo (o melaza (la necesaria))
8 ¼ tazas (2 lt) Agua
2 varitas pequeñas de canela
2 estrellas de anís
2 clavos de olor

Steps:

  • Poner el agua en una olla grande. Agregar el piloncillo o el azúcar, la canela, el anís estrellado y los clavos de olor.
  • Encender la flama alta y mezclar mientras se calienta el agua hasta que se disuelva completamente el piloncillo.
  • Cuando el agua comenzará a hervir vigorosamente agregar el café y mezclar. Tapar la olla y apagar la flama.
  • Dejar en infusión de 5 a 10 minutos, dependiendo de cuanto les guste cargado el café y listo, el café de la olla está listo para ser disfrutado.
  • Servir en tazas usando un colador fino para verter el café dentro las mismas. Si se desea se puede agregar una cucharadita de cacao negro en polvo.

  • Bring the water to a boil.
  • Add the coffee, cinnamon and sugar, and continue boiling for 30 seconds.
  • Stir and strain into hot mugs.
