Here's a recipe from Upstate New York. Very simple to make and my family really enjoys them.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheet.
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream butter or margarine with sugar. Beat in eggs and lemon flavoring. Mix in milk and flour mixture alternately in three parts, starting with the milk. Gently mix in blueberries.
- Drop batter by tablespoons onto prepared sheets 1 1/2 inches apart.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes.

Steps:
- Preheat oven 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda and baking powder and set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light. Beat in the eggs and the vanilla. Gradually mix in the flour then add the cherry mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Roll small round balls of dough and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and let cool.

CURRY & CARDAMOM COOKIE RECIPE – THE SPICE HOUSE
1/2 teaspoon salt. Preparation Instructions: Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until incorporated. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture, a third at a time. Stir in nuts. Divide dough into four rolls and wrap each in waxed paper. Refrigerate at least 4 hours (may also be frozen).

Dec 06, 2006 · I have blogged about Burry's cookies before and I am sure I will blog about them again. Today's item of interest is an ad from Women's Day, undated but from around 1963. The box that made me buy the ad was the Gauchos. When I was a kid Gauchos were my favorite cookies, they had a peanut butter cream filling with a kind of oatmeal cookie.

May 23, 2020 · Burry's Euphrates Crackers. 20 or 30 years ago, when I'd go to a local restaurant and visit their salad bar, they had a cracker called "Euphrates." It was by far, IMO, the finest crackers to put over a salad like croutons. Sadly, Burry's stopped making them some time ago, and I cannot find any copycat recipes.

ISO: Gauchos (cookies) - Recipelink.com. Gaucho's were made by Burry's, then Salerno. They were a shortbread cookie with a scalloped edge and a hole in the middle with peanut butter filling.
