Ingredients

2 tablespoon(s) canola oil
1 cup(s) red onion chopped
2 clove(s) garlic minced
1 teaspoon(s) salt
1 teaspoon(s) better than beef bouillon
1/4 cup(s) bulleit bourbon
24 ounce(s) tomato sauce

Steps:

In a large saucepan add the oil and saute the red onion, garlic and salt until onion is softened. Add the beef bouillon stir to dissolve the paste. Add the tomato sauce and bourbon.
Reduce heat to a simmer and simmer about 40 minutes. Stirring occasionally
Place in jars and put in water bath for 15 minutes. Or you can refrigerate it for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
