½ jar Ottogi Bulgogi Sauce & Marinade
300g thinly sliced beef
1 tbsp oil
2 cups short grain rice (cooked)
1 cup lettuce (julienned)
1 Lebanese cucumber (julienned)
½ carrot (julienned)
40g bean sprouts (trimmed and blanched)
40g shiitake mushrooms (cooked and sliced)
4 kaetnip or Korean perilla leaves (optional, julienned, available in Korean grocery stores)
2 fried eggs (sunny side up)
2 tbsp sesame oil
3 tbsp Ottogi Gochujang (Korean hot pepper paste)
2 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp raw sugar

Steps:

  • To Prep In a bowl, marinate beef slices with Ottogi Bulgogi Sauce & Marinade for 15 mins. Mix gochujang sauce ingredients in a bowl. Set aside. To Cook Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and stir-fry beef until cooked through. Set aside. Place 1 cup of rice in a serving bowl. Arrange with assorted vegetables and bulgogi beef side by side. Top with a fried egg. To Serve Drizzle 1 tbsp sesame oil. Repeat with the other bowl. Serve bibimbap with gochujang sauce.

Basic:
7 Oz. Beef
1/3 Large Carrot
1/2 Large Zucchini
1/2 Large Onion
4 Large Shiitake mushrooms
2 Large Eggs
2 Bowls Steamed rice
A handful of Baby leaves
Sesame oil
Sesame seeds
Beef Sauce:
1+1/2 Tbsp Soy sauce
1 Tbsp Cooking wine
1/2 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 Tbsp Minced garlic
1/2 Tbsp Sesame oil
Pepper
Red pepper paste sauce mixture:
2 Tbsp Red pepper paste
1 Tbsp Oligosaccharide
1/2 Tbsp Sesame oil
Soy sauce mixture:
2 Tbsp Soy sauce
1/2 Tbsp Oligosaccharide
1 Tbsp Cooking wine
1/2 Tbsp Sesame oil
1/2 Tsp Minced garlic
Sesame salt

Steps:

  • After the beef is chopped well, put it on a kitchen towel to remove the blood. Marinate with sauce mixture for 10 minutes.
  • Julienne carrot, zucchini, onion, and shiitake mushrooms. And rinse the young leaves in cold water and drain.
  • Stir-fry onion - zucchini - carrot - shiitake mushrooms - beef in order with salt.
  • Put the oil in the pan and add eggs and cook them half-boiled on one side only.
  • Put the rice and roasted vegetables on the edge of the bowl. And then put the bulgogi, baby leaves, and a fried egg in the middle.
  • Sprinkle some sesame oil and sesame seeds at last and serve with red pepper paste mixture (bibim gochujang) or soy sauce mixture. Enjoy!
