These chocolate chip cookie brownie bars have a soft brownie center and a light cookie crunch that make them an instant family-favorite. Plus, this brookie recipe only takes 15 minutes to prep with the help of a pouch of Betty Crocker™ chocolate chip cookie mix, and a box of Betty Crocker™ fudge brownie mix. Top these decadent treats with a scoop of ice cream or just enjoy them as they are - sweet, chewy, and swirling with brownie and chocolate chip cookie flavor.

- Heat oven to 350°F. Line 13x9-inch pan with foil. Spray with cooking spray.
- In medium bowl, stir Cookie Layer ingredients until soft dough forms. Press mixture evenly in bottom of pan.
- In medium bowl, stir Brownie Layer ingredients until well blended. Spread on top of cookie layer in pan.
- Bake 33 to 38 minutes or until brownies are set around edges and toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely in pan on cooling rack, about 1 hour. Remove from pan; pull away foil. Cut into 5 rows by 4 rows.

- Crumble both rolls cookie dough in ungreased 15x10x1-inch pan. Press evenly in pan. Sprinkle evenly with sugar.
- Bake 12 to 16 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven. Immediately press a variety of chocolate candies into bars, in 8 rows of 6 candies each. Cool about 2 hours or until candies are set. Cut into bars with chocolate candy in center of each. Store in airtight container.

- For the cupcakes: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, whisk to combine the cake mix, sparkling wine, eggs and oil. Line 24 muffin cups with paper liners. Fill each with 3-4 tablespoons of batter. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes in the pans, then transfer the cupcakes to a wire cooling rack to cool completely, about 1 hour. For the champagne buttercream: In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the butter on medium speed until creamy, 1-2 minutes. Add the powdered sugar, heavy cream, lemon zest (if using) and prosecco. Mix on low speed just until combined, then increase to medium-high speed and beat for 1-2 minutes, until light and fluffy. Spread the icing on the cupcakes or transfer it to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip. Pipe the icing around the outer edge of the cupcake, spiraling into the center until the cupcake is completely covered. Top with sprinkles and serve.

- Preheat the oven to 350˚. Spray 36 mini muffin pan cups with nonstick cooking spray; set aside. Combine the brown sugar, butter, egg yolk and vanilla in a bowl. Beat with a mixer on medium speed, scraping the bowl often, until creamy. Add the flour, baking powder and salt; beat on low speed until well mixed. Shape the dough into 3/4-inch balls; place each into a prepared mini muffin pan cup, pressing the dough onto bottom and up one-third of the sides of each cup, creating a shallow cup. Combine all of the filling ingredients in a bowl; spoon 1 teaspoon filling into each cookie. Bake 13 to 15 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let cool 10 minutes in the pan on a cooling rack. Remove the cookies from the pans by running a small knife around the edge of each cookie. Place onto the cooling rack; cool completely.

I always reduce sugar in recipes (reduced from 1/4 c to just over 1/8 c white sugar for cookie layer and from 1 c to 3/4 c in brownie layer). Only used 1 egg in brownie layer for a fudgier texture. Found the cookie layer difficult to cover bottom of 13x9 pan, so 2nd time I made recipe I used 11x7 pan.
