1 cup 1% milk warm
1 tablespoon light butter
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning or basil
3 teaspoons garlic powder
3 cups white flour
2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Steps:

  • "Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Basic Bread cycle; press Start. Usually - add wet ingredients (milk, butter) first in bottom of pan. Next mix dry (sugar, flour, salt, seasoning, garlic, flour). Layer on top of & cover wet ingredients. Sprinkle yeast on top - last."

1 cup warm whole milk (70° to 80°)
1 large egg, room temperature
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/4 cup dried minced onion
2 tablespoons sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon dried oregano
3-1/2 cups bread flour
2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Steps:

  • In a bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine directions (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons water or flour if needed).
