Number Of Ingredients 8

8-10 pound(s) ham, fully cooked spiral-cut, bone-in
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup(s) dijon mustard
1 teaspoon(s) cloves, ground
1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon, ground
1 large orange, zest
1/4 cup(s) maple syrup
1/4 cup(s) bourbon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put a cup of water in the bottom section of a large broiler pan. Add rack and place ham, meat side down.
  • Combine ingredients 2-8. Mix well. Brush half of the mixture all over ham. Loosley cover ham with aluminum foil and bake for 45-50 minutes. Brush the remaining mixture all over ham and bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes or until internal temperature is 160 degrees and the ham has caramelized.

With a brush and the remaining glaze, slather the top of the ham, allowing the glaze to get into any creases of the spiral you see. Place back in the oven uncovered but still sitting in the foil and roasting pan, an additional 10 to 15 minutes. Remove and rest 10 minutes before serving.
