- Season beef generously with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pressure cooker on sauté function. Brown beef completely, 5 to 7 minutes per side; remove to a plate. Fry onion and garlic in the fat remaining in the pressure cooker until soft and fragrant, about 3 minutes.
