Steps:

• Cream together butter, powdered sugar and coconut. Stir walnuts and condensed milk into the mixture. Roll into 1 inch balls and arrange on waxed paper covered cookie sheets. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
• Melt chocolate chips and shortening top of double boiler over medium-low heat. Working in small batches, dip balls in chocolate until covered. Place on waxed paper covered cookie sheets and refrigerate. When firm, store covered in refrigerator.

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350ºF and grease a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray.  Prepare cake mix according to package directions, transfer batter to baking pan, and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 25 minutes. Let cool completely. Crumble cake into a large bowl, making sure to break apart any large pieces. Add icing and stir until fully incorporated. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then place a wire cooling rack on baking sheet.  Roll cake mixture into 20 small balls about the size of ping-pong balls. Make a well in each with your thumb and transfer balls to the wire rack. Pour Pop Rocks into wells and seal with more cake mixture, rolling one more time to make sure they are round and sealed. Place baking sheet in freezer for 30 minutes, until bonbons are firm.  Combine white chocolate chips and coconut oil in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring in between. Spoon melted white chocolate over chilled bonbons until all are coated. Mix yellow food coloring into remaining white chocolate and transfer to piping bag or resealable plastic bag, then cut off the very tip to create a small hole. Decorate each cake ball with a lightning bolt, then transfer to the freezer for 10 minutes.
