19 1/2 oz Brownie mix
1/2 cup Vegetable oil
1/4 cup Water
2 ea Egg
Peanut Butter Filing
3/4 cup Peanut butter
1/2 cup Butter melted
1/3 cup Sugar
2 tbsp All purpose flour
2 ea Egg

Steps:

  • "1.) Heat oven to 350 F. Prepare brownie mix as directions on package, using oil, water and eggs. Set aside. 2.) In small bowl combine peanut butter and butter; beat until smooth. Add sugar and flour; mix well. Add 2 eggs; blend well. 3.) Spread half of brownie mixture in 9 x 13 prepared pan. Carefully spread peanut butter mixture over chocolate mixture. Spread remaining chocolate mixture evenly over peanut butter mixture. 4.) Bake at 350 F for 30 - 35 minutes. Cool 1 hour or until completely cool. Store loosely covered."

Brownie
1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter
4 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
4 large Land O Lakes® Eggs slightly beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Frosting
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons shortening
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 to 5 tablespoons milk

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Melt butter and chocolate in 3-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, 5-8 minutes or until smooth. Remove from heat; stir in sugar. Add sour cream, eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla; mix well. Stir in flour and salt just until moistened.
  • Spread batter into greased 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from sides of pan. (Do not overbake.) Cool completely.
  • Melt chocolate chips and shortening in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, 3-5 minutes or until smooth. Stir in powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and enough milk for desired spreading consistency. Spread over cooled brownies. Cut into bars.
