- Tartar Sauce: At least one hour before you prepare the fish, make the tartar sauce by combining all of the ingredients in a container with a lid. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
- To assemble the sandwiches: Bake fish fillets according to the box. Top with a slice of American cheese while hot. Steam buns by placing them in a plastic bag with a damp paper towel. Microwave for 30 seconds to steam. Place fish, topped with cheese on bun, add tartar sauce. Enjoy!

GRILLED FISH SANDWICHES FOR TWO | ALLRECIPES
If you are in a hurry to get dinner on the table, these grilled fish sandwiches will be ready in less time than it takes to preheat the grill! To make things even quicker, I used a purchased remoulade sauce, but there are some great recipes for remoulade here on the site. We like simple toppings of lettuce and sliced tomatoes, but feel free to add your favorite sandwich toppings, if you prefer!

Steps:
- Clean the grates of an outdoor grill, and preheat to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Melt butter and stir in Creole seasoning and smoked paprika.
- Pat fillets dry with a paper towel, and brush each side with the seasoned butter mixture.
- Carefully oil grill grates and place fillets on the grill for 1 minute. Gently rotate the fish on the grate 60 to 90 degrees, to make grill marks, and continue grilling for 1 more minute. With a fish turner, turn fillets over and grill for 1 minute. Rotate and grill for 1 more minute. Fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork and an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center reads 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
- Open sandwich rolls and place Romaine leaves and grilled fish inside. Top with tomato slices. Add remoulade sauce and serve.

- Toss cabbage, carrots, salt, and a good amount of black pepper until fully coated. Let cabbage mixture sit for 15 minutes to soften. In a small bowl, combine dijon mustard, lemon juice, and sugar. Once slaw mixture is slightly softer and more pliable, squeeze veggies in your hands to remove excess moisture. Then, drizzle dressing over veggies and toss to coat. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, dill, pickles, and capers. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Preheat oil to 350° in a dutch oven, heavy bottomed pot, or deep fryer. In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 cup of flour, corn starch, paprika, cayenne, baking powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and ½ teaspoon black pepper. Add beer to dry ingredients and mix; the resulting batter should resemble pancake batter. Add remaining 1/2 cup flour to a shallow bowl or plate. Season fish generously with salt and pepper. Working with one filet at a time, fully coat fish in flour, then dip both sides of fish into batter, making sure to let excess batter drip back into the bowl. Then, coat fish in flour again; this will help create the craggly, crunchy bits of batter. Repeat with remaining fish.
