The secret to the perfect margarita is the right ratio of tequila to triple sec. This recipe works for both a margarita on the rocks and a blended margarita.

- Place salt on small shallow plate. Rim two glasses with lime wedge, then dip in salt to coat rim. Divide tequila, triple sec, and lime juice between 2 glasses and stir to combine. Top with ice, garnish with lime, and serve.

- Pour sugar onto a shallow plate in a small pile.
- Run lime wedge along rim of cocktail glass. Twist rim in pile of sugar to coat lime juice. Fill cocktail glass with ice and a few pomegranate seeds.
- In a cocktail shaker, add pomegranate juice, tequila, peppermint vodka, and lime juice. Shake for 10 seconds.
- Pour cocktail mixture over ice and garnish with pomegranate seeds and mint sprig.
