Makes a sweet sauce that is nicely sticky so have lots of napkins! Great for days when the weather isn't good enough to grill outside!

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 lbs country-style boneless pork ribs
1 medium onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2/3 cup good barbecue sauce
1/3 cup plum jam (amount to taste)

Steps:

  • Place ribs, onion and garlic in crock pot.
  • Cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until pork is cooked through and tender (your time may vary with your appliance).
  • Drain ribs and onion from crock pot.
  • Discard any juices from crock pot and return meat and onions to crock pot.
  • Stir together barbecue sauce and jam until blended.
  • Pour over ribs, stirring lightly to coat.
  • Cook on high for 30 minutes or until sauce has thickened and ribs are glazed.

DELICIOUS mainstay on our menu! It makes the BEST GRAVY!!! We have this for dinner quite frequently....good and easy to prepare! All the veggies go in and cook along with the roast. Rice is always served and the roast and veggies are placed on top. UMMMmm!

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 lbs chuck roast
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 potatoes, sliced
2 carrots, chopped
2 celery ribs, chopped
2 onions, sliced
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 (10 ounce) cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Cut vegetables and place in crock in the following order: carrots, celery, onion and potatoes. Sprinkle with salt.
  • Brown roast in vegetable oil and place on top of vegetables in crock pot. (More salt may be sprinkled on roast.).
  • In a small bowl mix cream of mushroom soup, ketchup, worcestershire sauce and water. Pour over roast.
  • Cover with crock pot lid and cook 1 hour on high and 4 hours on low. Serve over rice.
  • Enjoy!

Add beef and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until no pink remains, then drain grease. Stir in 3 cups of the marinara until combined, and cook 2 to 3 minutes more. In a large bowl, combine ricotta with Parmesan and parsley. Season with salt and pepper and stir until fully incorporated. Grease the bowl of your slow cooker with a nonstick cooking spray or olive oil. Using the remaining marinara, spread a thin layer on the bottom of the crock pot. Next, add a layer of noodles (you’ll have to break some to make them fit), a layer of meat mixture, a layer of mozzarella, and a layer of ricotta mixture. Repeat until all ingredients are used up, ending with mozzarella. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours. Garnish with more Parmesan and parsley and serve.
