- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Combine butter, parsley, Pecorino Romano cheese, and garlic in a small bowl. Stir to combine.
- Lightly coat 1 side of each bread slice with the butter mixture. Flip bread and top 2 slices evenly with provolone cheese and mozzarella cheese. Cover with remaining bread slices, buttered-sides up.
- Place sandwiches into the hot skillet. Cook until golden brown on one side, 3 to 4 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown on the second side and cheese has melted, 3 to 4 minutes more. Cut each sandwich in half and serve.

- Place a nonstick pan over medium heat, leaving it there for a minute or two to warm up. Place one slice of garlic bread, butter-side down, on the pan and top with a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese. Top with another slice of garlic bread (buttery side facing up). Grill for 1 to 2 minutes before flipping. If you're using thick-cut bread, like Texas Toast, you may want to cover the grilled cheese with the lid of a pan to help the cheese melt. Cook until both sides are lightly golden and cheese has melted. Serve with marinara.

- Spread 1 tablespoon butter on one side of each slice of bread. With butter side down, top each slice of bread with about ½ cup cheddar. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add two slices of bread, butter side down. Cook until bread is golden and cheese is starting to melt, about 2 minutes. Flip one piece of bread on top of the other and continue to cook until cheese is melty, about 30 seconds more. Repeat for the second sandwich, wiping skillet clean if necessary.
