- ONLY USE FOR BEST TASTE WILD CAUGHT SHRIMP NO FARM RAISED SHRIMP I don't care if you use cold, warm or hot water!
- Start cooking shrimp.
- The water may never come to a boil.
- But constantly stir srhrimp.
- Don't worry about the water boiling or time, it does not matter!
- When you see 1 or 2 shrimp float!
- drain immediately and have an ice bath waiting, to shock the shrimp and stop cooking process.
- Drain well and chill 1 hour before serving!
- If eating hot serve right after cooking.
- If you follow this method you will only serve the best.
- I have been following my recipe for over 20 years and it is fool proof.
- I have never seen anyone use this recipe, BUT LET ME SAY THAT IF YOU TRY THIS, YOU WILL NEVER COOK IT ANY OTHER WAY!

Every year in May we have a big Shrimp Boil. I got this recipe from Old Bay and we love it. Roll up your sleeves and dig in.

Steps:
- In an 8-quart stock pot, bring Old Bay, salt, water and beer to a boil.
- Add potatoes and onions; cook over high heat for 8 minutes.
- Add smoked sausage; continue to cook on high for 5 minutes.
- Add corn to pot; continue to boil for 7 minutes.
- Add shrimp in shells, cook for 4 minutes.
- Drain cookin liquid; pour contents of pot into several large bowl or shallow pails.
- Sprinkle with additional Old Bay.

- 1. Fill a large pot with 4 quarts of water. Squeeze the lemon juice into the water, then add the seafood boil seasoning, garlic, onion and thyme. Cover and bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. 2. Add the potatoes to the pot and cook until barely tender, about 8 minutes. Add the sausage and corn and cook 5 more minutes. 3. Add the shrimp to the pot, cover and cook until the shrimp turn pink, 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer the shrimp, sausage and vegetables with a slotted spoon to a large bowl. Add the butter and about 1 cup broth to the bowl and toss until the butter is melted. Serve on newspaper or on a large platter with lemon wedges and bowls of the remaining broth on the side.

- Preheat oven to 425°. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook potatoes until just tender, about 10 minutes. Drain. In a large bowl, combine cooked potatoes, shrimp, corn, sausage, lemons, garlic powder, Old Bay, melted butter, and oil and season with salt and pepper. Toss until combined, then divide between two large baking sheets. Bake until shrimp is cooked through and corn is tender, 13 to 15 minutes. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, chives, Old Bay seasoning, Dijon, and lemon juice and zest. Garnish dish with parsley and serve with Old Bay Mayo.
