If you wish to make goji berry tea at home, it is best to use fresh berries, but they aren't always available. In fact, many popular recipes recommend using dried goji berries.

1 tbsp goji berries (dried)
2 cups water
1 tsp honey (if desired)

Steps:

  • Add 1 tablespoon of dried goji berries to a teapot or infuser.
  • Bring 2 cups of water to boil on the stove.
  • Pour the hot water over the dried berries.
  • Allow the mixture to steep for 3-4 minutes, longer if you want a stronger tea.
  • Strain out the goji berries and serve hot.
  • Add honey, if desired, for flavor.

Goji and Chrysanthemum tea

3-4 dried chrysanthemum tea flower
1 teaspoon goji berry
rock sugar or sweetener
Or you can use honey with lemon as sweetener
1 +1/2 cup of hot water above 80 degree C
Peppermint for decorating (optional)

Steps:

  • Place the chrysanthemum flower and goji berry in a glass cup. Pour around 1/2 cup of hot water in and waggle slightly for 5 seconds and then pour the liquid out (for cleaning purpose).
  • Re-pour around 1 cup of hot water and set aside for 3-5 minutes until done.
  • This time can be infused three times. Each time, leave around 1/3 of the tea liquid and add new hot water.
