A chilled soup that is creamy and smooth! Great for a hot summer day! African origin, but bananas grow in the tropics and so this recipe is Caribbean and Southern too!

- "1) Put all ingredients, except for the fluids, sugar and habanero, in a large pan on a medium fire and mix all well for 2 minutes. 2) Add the fluids (water, orange juice and cream) and cane sugar to the mixure and stirr well until boil. 3) Add the whole Habanero to the soup and let it cook for 45 minutes on a medium fire. 4) Turn down the heat and continue to cook on low fire for about 1 hour 4) Remove the habanero and take the soup of the heat. 5) Puree and filter until you have a thick creamy soup. Serve with toasted bread."
