CARAMEL MACCHIATO BANANA BREAD RECIPE | ALLRECIPES
Baking banana bread is one of my favorites, and I love nothing more than enjoying a slice with a nice cup of coffee. This was the inspiration for my recipe, which features a coffee infused loaf and a rich caramel glaze.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until almost smooth, and stir in the coffee creamer, vegetable oil, eggs, sugar, and instant coffee granules until the coffee granules have dissolved. Gradually stir in the flour mixture, about 1/2 cup at a time, until batter is almost smooth, and pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake in preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center of the banana bread comes out clean, about 1 hour. Allow to cool before removing from pan.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat, and mix in the brown sugar and vanilla extract. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar, and reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer the syrup for 3 minutes, allow to cool to a warm but liquid temperature, and pour the glaze over the banana bread. Serve when glaze has set.

- Preheat oven to 350° and butter and flour a 9"-x-5" loaf pan. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. In another large bowl, mix sugar, butter, buttermilk, vanilla, egg and egg yolk until smooth. Pour wet ingredients over dry and stir until combined, then fold in mashed bananas and caramel. Transfer batter to prepared baking dish and scatter with banana slices. Bake until deeply golden and a toothpick comes out clean, about 1 hour. Let cool at least 10 minutes. Drizzle with caramel and sprinkle with flaky sea salt before serving.

- 1. Preheat the oven to 350?F. Grease a loaf pan with the butter, using most of it to generously coat the base of the pan. 2. Make the Base: Sprinkle the ? cup brown sugar evenly into the base of the pan. Arrange the bananas in the base of the pan. (You can trim off the ends of the bananas, if necessary, to fit them into the pan.) 3. Make the Banana Bread: In a medium bowl, whisk the flour with the baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. 4. In a large bowl, whisk the coconut oil with the sugar and brown sugar until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time and whisk to combine. 5. Add the vanilla extract and mashed bananas to the sugar mixture; mix with a spatula or wooden spoon to combine. Add the flour mixture and mix until incorporated. Stir in the sour cream. 6. Pour the batter over the bananas in the prepared pan and smooth into an even layer. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 50 minutes to 1 hour. 7. Let the loaf cool for 15 to 20 minutes, and then run a small spatula or paring knife all around the edges of the loaf and invert it onto a serving platter. 8. When the loaf has cooled completely, spread the caramel sauce into an even layer on top of the bananas. Serve slices at room temperature. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
