Prep Time 10 minutes

Number Of Ingredients 3

- white vinegar
- baking soda
- nylon sock, or a scrubbing sponge that is just for non stick cookware

Steps:

  • Fill your sink or a basin with white vinegar and completely immerse the cookie sheet in the vinegar. Allow the cookie sheet to soak for one to two hours.
  • Lift the cookie sheet out of the vinegar, but do not dry it off. Instead, sprinkle baking soda over the sheet. Scrub the sheet gently with a very soft scrubbing sponge made for non stick pans, or a nylon sock. The baking soda and vinegar will create a gentle scouring paste. This should remove any left over residue.
  • Rinse the cookie sheet thoroughly and dry it with a cloth or dish towel Dry your nonstick bakeware after washing and place cardboard or a thin towel between pans to avoid scratching the coating. The coating on nonstick bakeware and cookware can be scratched in the dishwasher. Wash your nonstick items by hand.
