I saw this recipe on a local cooking show and had to try it. My kids love ravioli so I knew this was going to be a hit. Hope you enjoy too.

Prep Time 10 minutes

Cook Time 15 minutes

Yield 6-8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 lb frozen ravioli (any type you like)
1/4 cup butter, cut into small patties
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup freshly grated romano cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Bring 6 quarts of salted water to a boil.
  • Add the ravioli and stir gently until the water returns to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Drain the ravioli well and return to the pot with the butter.
  • Stir gently to coat.
  • Lay the ravioli out on a rimmed baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Top each ravioli with a small amount of sauce and a sprinkling of cheese. Put into the oven for 10-15 minutes until they begin to crisp and brown slightly at the edges.
  • Serve with toothpicks.

1/2 cup Italian dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt melted
48 (about 10 ounces) small refrigerated cheese-filled ravioli
3/4 cup pasta sauce, warmed

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F.
  • Combine bread crumbs and cheese in bowl.
  • Dip ravioli into melted Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt, then into bread crumb mixture to coat evenly.
  • Place ravioli onto nonstick baking sheet. Bake 10-14 minutes or until ravioli are crisp and lightly browned. Serve immediately with pasta sauce.

My family loves pasta and we also love seafood so I came up with this for a meat-less dinner during Lent. It kind of tastes like a high end seafood lasagne, but is a whole lot easier (and cheaper!).
