Loaded Bacon Cheese Fries | Idaho Potato Commission image

1 package frozen Grown in Idaho® crinkle-cut French fries
1½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
6 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked and roughly chopped
¼ cup sour cream or ranch dressing
2 green onions, sliced, green parts only
ketchup, for serving

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 425°F. Grease a rimmed baking sheet or large cast-iron skillet with cooking spray. 2. Spread out crinkle-cut french fries in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. 3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until crispy and golden brown. 4. Sprinkle the fries evenly with cheese. Bake for 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese is melted. 5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the bacon. 6. Drizzle with the sour cream or ranch dressing, then sprinkle with the sliced green onions. 7. Serve immediately with ketchup on the side.

Steps:

  • Cook French fries according to package directions. Place fries on a broiler-proof dish or platter. Sprinkle with cheese, onions and bacon. Broil for 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with ranch dressing.
