1/4 cup canola oil
2 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon grated lime zest
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds cooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first 10 ingredients. Add the shrimp; turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Drain and discard marinade; arrange shrimp on a serving plate.

We have always been attracted to Asian culture because everything that surrounds it involves many ancient traditions and it does not cease to be so in its cuisine, which is why we could not pass up preparing this recipe for Foo Yung shrimp or Chinese shrimp omelet. Ingredients 500 grams of fresh small shrimp 6 eggs 100 grams of rootless bean sprouts 2 shiitake mushrooms 2 green scallions ¼ teaspoon white pepper powder or Chinese spices Oil for frying ½ cup chicken broth 3 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1 teaspoon sesame oil Preparation Peel, devein and cut the shrimp into finger-sized pieces and then marinate them with 2 pinches of salt and pepper. Slice the mushrooms first and then shred them into thin strips. Then cut the bean sprouts into 5-7 centimeter sections and the scallions into sections about 4 centimeters long. Beat all the eggs in a bowl and add the mushrooms, bean sprouts, chopped scallion, spice powder, salt and shrimp. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, chicken broth, cornstarch and sesame oil, then simmer for 5 minutes. Heat 3 tablespoons oil in a smaller skillet, then pour 1/3 of the mixture with shrimp and fry for 4-5 minutes over low heat. Flip the pancakes and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes, then set aside on a plate. Repeat until the remaining 2 portions of this Chinese shrimp omelette are finished, then serve with the soy sauce and sesame seeds.
