Prep Time 15 minutes

Cook Time 25 minutes

Yield 4 servings

Number Of Ingredients 9

⅓ cup soy sauce
⅓ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon Thai-style sweet chili sauce
1 teaspoon chile-garlic sauce (such as Sriracha®)
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ teaspoon curry powder
4 skinless, boneless chicken thighs

Steps:

  • Place the soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, orange juice, sweet chili sauce, chili-garlic sauce, garlic, and curry powder in a large plastic zipper bag. Place the chicken thighs into the marinade, squeeze out the air from the bag, zip the bag closed, and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-low heat; lightly oil the grate.
  • Remove the chicken from the bag, pour the excess marinade into a small saucepan, and bring to a full boil for about 1 minute to sterilize the marinade.
  • Grill the chicken thighs until they are no longer pink in the middle and show grill marks, about 25 minutes, basting them generously with the sterilized marinade as they grill.

    1. Pick the coriander leaves and finely slice the stalks, then keep aside for later. Peel and finely slice the garlic, then peel and matchstick the ginger.
    2. Trim and finely slice the spring onions, deseed and finely slice the chilli and cut the lime into wedges. Trim, peel and thinly slice the carrots at an angle.
    3. Cut the broccoli into small florets, then finely shred the stalk, discarding any gnarly bits. Cut the chicken into 1cm strips.
    4. Cook the noodles according to packet instructions, then drain and refresh under cold water. Drain again, toss in a little oil and put to one side. Lightly toast the cashew nuts in a non-stick frying pan until golden, then tip onto a plate to cool.
    5. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large frying pan or wok. Season the chicken with a pinch of pepper, then add to the pan and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes, or until golden. Add the coriander stalks, garlic and ginger and cook for a further minute.
    6. Add the spring onions, carrots and broccoli and stir-fry for a further 2 minutes, then add the cooked noodles. Keep stir-frying until the noodles are warm and the chicken is cooked through. Stir through the soy and fish sauces, then remove from the heat.
    7. Divide between bowls, sprinkle over the nuts, sliced chilli and the reserved coriander leaves, then serve with the lime wedges for squeezing over.

TOP SECRET RECIPES | PIZZA HUT WINGSTREET TRADITIONAL ...
Pizza Hut added buffalo wings to the chain’s menu in 1995, and as the popularity of wings began to grow Yum! Brands (the parent company of Pizza Hut) created WingStreet in 2003 offering 8 different sauces on wings cooked 3 different ways. The WingStreet stores are almost always co-located in Pizza Hut stores so that you can get 7, 14, or 22 wings delivered right to your door along with your pizza. The chain offers several flavors of wings to choose from, but the most popular are always the traditional bone-in unbreaded wings with the spicy buffalo sauce that comes in either burnin’ hot, medium, or mild heat. The chain's medium sauce was named the “Best Medium Traditional Wing Sauce” in 2006, 2008, and 2009 at the National Buffalo Wing Festival held in Buffalo, New York every fall. You can use butter here instead of margarine but if you want the closest copy of the award-winning WingStreet originals, margarine is the way to go. Also, be sure the wings you use are small—there should be about 14 wings in 1½ pounds. SOUTH ASIAN CHICKEN CURRY | JAMIE OLIVER RECIPES
This curry over-delivers on big, bold flavour, and will fill your kitchen with beautiful smells – but what's really great is that it can be on the table in little over half an hour. Served with fluffy rice to soak up the lovely creamy coconut base, plus a good hit of protein from the tender chicken, I challenge you not to love this one. Don't skimp on the cooking time for the base, as cooking the onions properly helps avoid the sauce splitting later on. Keep any leftover coconut milk for another day – try adding a splash to rice while it's cooking for a delicious creamy twist.

    1. Peel and finely chop the onion, garlic and ginger. Pick the coriander leaves and finely chop the stalks. Deseed and roughly chop the peppers, then halve the cherry tomatoes. Cut the chicken thighs into 3cm chunks.
    2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a medium frying pan over a medium heat, add the onion and pepper, then fry for around 10 minutes, or until softened.
    3. Add the garlic, ginger and coriander stalks, then fry for a further 3 minutes, or until softened. Next, add the curry powder and turmeric and cook for a further 2 to 3 minutes.
    4. Throw in the chicken and cook for 2 minutes, stirring regularly to coat.
    5. Pour in the coconut milk and stock, bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer for 12 to 15 minutes, or until thickened, turning the heat up if you need to. Add the cherry tomatoes for the last 5 minutes.
    6. While the curry is ticking away, place the rice in a pan, add twice as much boiling water and a pinch of sea salt. Cover and cook on medium for 7 minutes, remove from the heat and leave to steam with the lid on for 7 minutes, then fluff up with a fork.
    7. Squeeze half the lime juice into the curry, add the mango chutney (if you have some) and a pinch of black pepper. Taste and add a little more lime juice, mango chutney or seasoning if needed.
    8. Scatter over the reserved coriander leaves then serve with the fluffy rice and lime wedges for squeezing over.

HOOTERS BUFFALO CHICKEN WINGS RECIPE | TOP SECRET RECIPES
Menu Description: "Nearly world-famous. Often imitated, hardly ever duplicated." "Hooters is to chicken wings what McDonald's is to hamburgers," claims promotional material from the company. True, the six fun-loving Midwestern businessmen who started Hooters in Clearwater, Florida, on April Fool's Day in 1983 chose a classic recipe for chicken wings as their signature item. But while some might say it's the buffalo wings that are their favorite feature of the restaurant, others say it's the restaurant chain's trademark Hooters girls—waitresses casually attired in bright orange short-shorts and skin tight T-shirts. Today there are over 375 Hooters across the United States serving more than 200 tons of chicken wings every week. The original dish can be ordered in 10-, 20-, or 50-piece servings; or if you want to splurge, there's the "Gourmet Chicken Wing Dinner" featuring 20 wings and a bottle of Dom Perignon champagne, for only $125. To further enhance the Hooters experience when you serve these messy wings, throw a whole roll of paper towels on the table, rather than napkins, as they do in the restaurants.
